Danny’s Top 5/Bottom 5 Halloween Candy

Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year!  I love the fall season and I love dressing up in costume, decorating the front yard, and scaring all the neighborhood kids.  The best part of Halloween is the CANDY!  So here is my Top 5 / Bottom 5 Halloween Candy.  Enjoy!

When I was a kid, there where only two ways of getting DOTS.  You either bought a big box of them at the movie theatre OR you could get really luck at Trick-or-Treat time and get a little “fun size” box of them!  Each one was a special treasure to me the day after Halloween.

Swedish Fish

Same as DOTS.  It was either the movie theater or Halloween in order to get these tiny treasures.  Now they even have assorted flavors and the green one is LIME!  Yum!

Reese’s Pieces

I’m not allergic to peanut butter, so I’m a huge fan of these little delights made famous by E.T.

Powder sugar tablets with a little bit of flavor.  These are so cheap that people would hand them out by the handful and I’d take as many as I could get!

Yummy fruit flavors.  They USED to have green ones that tasted like LIME, which is my favorite fruit-flavored candy, but sadly it has been replaced with apple.  🙁

Candy Corn

I have no idea what the exact flavor of these things is supposed to be.  All I can tell you is that it’s a waste of good sugar.

Popcorn Balls

A majority of the time, these things were homemade and stale.  You could easily lose a tooth when biting into one.

Pumpkin Candies

These are simply candy corn disguised as pumpkins!  More lies!  Trickery!  Stop wasting sugar!

These do not taste anything like M&Ms and tend to leave a chalky aftertaste.  Yuck.

Those Orange & Black wrapped Taffy

I think they’re either peanut butter or maple flavored taffy?  All I know is that they’re wrapped in the generic Halloween colors to hide the fact that they’re gross and belong in the cemetery of bad candy.
